The LLS Advocacy Town Hall: Using Your Power During a Time of Uncertainty
Join us March 2 at 2 p.m. Eastern for a conversation with LLS staff and volunteer-advocates about an issue that’s on everyone’s mind – will lawmakers embrace the challenge of getting healthcare on the right track in 2021 and what is our role as a patient community?
Today, patients, caregivers, family members and others impacted by blood cancer are asking critical questions. How will lawmakers steer the country through the pandemic? How will they ensure healthcare is affordable – particularly in the face of an economic crisis? And how will they work to combat disparities that plague our healthcare system?
We’re urging lawmakers to prioritize these issues, and more, through The 100 Days Agenda: A Patient-First Blueprint. In this town hall, we’ll help you understand the most urgent issues in healthcare right now – and more importantly, how you can help us work with lawmakers to solve them. It’s critical that we act now. The clock is ticking.
Our volunteer-advocate community is a powerful force that encourages lawmakers to do what’s right for patients – and holds them accountable. Whether you are new to advocacy or a seasoned LLS supporter, you’ll learn how your voice can contribute to this effort.
